Day 1 - Renewing Our Minds 1/27/13
Father God we come in the name of Jesus to give thanks to You for this day. We thank You for loving us, using us and being with us always. We would like to take this time to say we commit our lives and our ways to Your Will. We ask that You would use us in the next 21 days to bless our marriage and our husband like NEVER BEFORE. Give us a new hope and resurrection power to speak life back into our husband and marriage. We understand that we can not do anything without Your help. So, we invite You into this challenge and ask that You would get the glory out of each wife who has committed to the challenge. Challenges tend to be hard but with You God, it SHALL be easy. It WILL be easy to love my husband. It WILL be easy to encourage the man of God of my home and family. It WILL be easy to serve him. God we thank you for every marriage that will be blessed and restored from this challenge. We thank you for the praise reports. Lord God we thank You for Gail Crowder and for the ministry of We still do. Bless them both as the move forward with this challenge with their marriage ministry. Give us Your strength and we shall be strong. Bless us God and we shall be blessed. It's in the wonderful name of Jesus we offer this prayer. We seal it with praise and thanksgiving. Amen!
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
21-Day "I APPRECIATE MY HUSBAND" Challenge
Day 2 - Fruit of the Spirit 1/28/13
Lord, today I choose to display the fruit of the Spirit toward my husband. I choose to LOVE him freely, show JOY about being married to him. Today Lord, I will be a little more PATIENT with my husband. Give me all I need to be kind and good toward him. Lord, thank You for Your Spirit that dwells in me. With You, this challenge is POSSIBLE.
Wives: remember to SPEAK encouragement to your husband today.
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
