Many relationships are in a rage because of modern technology. We talk so LOUD on Facebook, where everyone knows our business. For many, it is no accident that people come into our lives at vulnerable times. Why? Because our lives and what is happening is all over the internet. Whatever happened to respect not only for others but moreover respect for oneself? Well, the subject is, “are we two timers?” We seek after so many things and try to network with so many people while trying to build success. It is nothing wrong with networking and striving to be successful but there is something wrong when it is done at the sake of destroying your family and relationships and moreover without God. What does it profit a man or a woman to gain the whole world and lose their soul, family, respect, character/integrity etc? The Word of God says, “To seek him first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all other things shall be added.” God is not a man that He should lie, neither is He the Son of Man that He should repent.” If God said it, you can believe it.” What are we building on? The Rock who is Jesus, a solid foundation of stability and strength or are we building on sand that will slowly dissipate especially after a strong wind or rain. A wise person builds upon a solid foundation.
Are we two timing Jesus and putting other things before Him? Are we two timing Jesus? Are we loving Jesus as we should or are we loving the things that He has created? Are we two timing Jesus? Putting our money in things and not even giving back to the One who has blessed us to go to work (health/strength), blessed us with jobs (favor), blessed us with family/children/spouse (love), blessed us with skills and abilities (gifts/talents). When we two time our spouses and even two time God we cheat ourselves when we could have it all. Spend time with God and YOUR family without distraction or a divided loyalty. Give God your all and your spouse/family and see how it will bless you but remember "It takes both individuals." When our part is done God will honor His word. Remember, we don't have to doubt God and try to make things happen for us. Like Abraham, just trust God to do what He said. He has a way that is mighty sweet and He may not come the way the we have in our mind but He will come and bless. For the Bible says, “His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts.” Can God count on us not to two time Him and also can our spouse/family count on us to be faithful and not two time us. God wants to know Who will we serve. We do not have to conform to the world's way of living. God has called us to live a life pleasing unto Him. Look at all that God has done...Does He deserve to be two-timed?
